Asian Paints marginally up; consolidates investment in overseas arms

Asian paints Ltd’s wholly owned subsidiary in Mauritius, Asian Paints (International) Limited has transferred its entire stake of 75% in Asian Paints (S.I.)

Shares of Asian Paints Ltd was trading marginally up at Rs. 829.55 on BSE. Also, Asian Paints Ltd’s overseas arm has transferred its 80% holding

The scrip opened at Rs. 828.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 834.5 and Rs. 827.15 respectively. So far 443,520 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 79,359.41 crore.


The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 924.65 on 05-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 637.2 on 07-Nov-2014. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 866.75 and Rs. 812.5 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.79 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.88 % and 20.33 % respectively.
